The rescue of India's traditional culture

There is a lot of common ground between the Alice Project and other NGOs and think tanks active in India.

FOH-partner Valentino Giacomin, founder and director of Alice Project, believes in the re-discovery of traditional culture as an educational method, in order to counterbalance a globalized trend which tends to amalgamate all cultures, in spite of the differences beteween them.

Within this same frame of mind, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and the NGO Shuri Foundation made a pact to promote Indian indigenous culture over several domains.

According to the promoters, India is the only country in the world that has developed this idea yet..... You can find more about this subject here

Alice Project activities and the new school in Bodhisatta, funded by FOH, will be presented at the A Day To Share event, on September 18 at Onex.
