Women Working Hand in Hand

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, the Australian NGO Habitat for Humanity set up a project we are proud to relay and endorse: 100 women traveled from Australia to Nepal to help build safe and decent houses for the residents.

The final goal is to have 250 houses built, and the 100 women helped build the first ten of them, working in close partnership with the local population. After their return to Australia, many of them have spoken about this amazing experience.
