FOH People Stories

There are some stories that should be told in order to inspire others. At FOH we are convinced that we have created a lot of joyful stories worth being told. Among the several projects we are supporting, we are going to talk about some persons in Burundi, Africa. Some people who touched Maggy and consequently touched Friends of Humanity.

The first person we are going to talk about is Richard: a victim of the conflicts, as his parents were killed and he lost his home. Most of us cannot imagine the suffering he must have endured, the feeling of being an orphan, and a witness of these massacres. He came to Maison Shalom and Friends of Humanity supported this cause.

The second person is Pascasie. She is a woman who also witnessed the killing of her parents and was left an orphan. The soldiers mutilated her but she managed to reach Maison Shalom and find a better life. She loves to help people and Friends of Humanity also supports this cause.

We already know what happened to the third person, also left as an orphan. But the important part of this story is that Lysette now wants to go to University. Despite the horrible experience she had in the past, she is ready to turn it into something great.

We could go on and on with stories about the beautiful orphans in Burundi, but if you want to read more about them you can visit the inspiring article on the web

If you want to keep helping these orphans do not hesitate and help us help them, donate now through our web page of FOH.
