Alice Project comes home

Our partners and friends of Alice Project were present last weekend at a rock festival in Italy, home country of the two founders, Valentino Giacomin and Luigina De Biasi.

In the north-western town of Vercelli, the Jazz:Re:Found Festival provided a space to make Alice Project known to the public, a stand where pictures and testimonies were on display. A documentary of the activities of Alice Project was also shown to the public, thanks to  Roberta Scandellari and Paolo Regis, both volunteers in the project. You can find more on the event on the festival website (Italian only)

This is another chapter in the rich partnership between Alice Project and the Vercelli region, where a fair trade rice company helps financing Valentino and Luigina's schools. Vercelli and neighbouring Novara constitute the biggest rice-producing area in Europe.

Luigina De Biasi will be our guest of honour at the Day to Share event, on September 18 in Onex, GE.
